This ad from the Jacklin Seed Co. strikes me as another one of those advertisements we could do better without.

I never thought of using sex to sell grass seed.

My larger concern, however, is whether the female or the male in the picture is the "thing"-whichever we have made, we have certainly robbed the personhood of the individual.

Or maybe I have misunderstood the ad and this grass seed company is just making a rye comment.
