Sega plans centers

Sega Enterprises, DreamWorks SKG and MCA are forming a joint venture to create 100 location-based entertainment centers dubbed "Sega GameWorks" by the year 2000. Skip Paul, formerly exec VP at MCA, will be chairman-CEO of the joint venture. The centers will offer interactive games, simulators, arcade games from Sega and other manufacturers, plus food and merchandise environments. No date was announced for the opening of the first center.
