Sega.com seeks game players

Published on .

Sega of America's Sega.com is looking for a few hard-core gamers--more than a 100--to beta test SegaNet, its new high-speed online gaming service. The testers will be asked to play Sega Dreamcast games on SegaNet from Aug. 21-29 and will be eligible to win prizes. They also will be asked to report their observations back to Sega.com. The San Francisco-based marketer's SegaNet will launch in September. Gamers can sign up for the beta test program on Aug. 9 at sega.com.
