Sybase, an Emeryville, Calif., database software marketer, has named six semifinalists for its estimated $12 million to $15 million creative account. Contenders include Boston agencies Cohn Godley Norwood; Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos and Ingalls Advertising. Others are Allen & Gerritsen, Watertown, Mass.; FGI, Chapel Hill, N.C., and Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco. Incumbent Euro RSCG Dahlin Smith White, Salt Lake City, was not included in the review. The media business will continue to be handled by Freeman Associates, Wellesley, Mass.
