Senator: Demand free anti-drug ad for each one purchased at nets

The White House should insist TV networks provide a free anti-drug ad for every anti-drug ad the government buys and quit accepting related TV programming as a substitute, U.S. Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R., Colo.) said last week. Sen. Campbell made his comments at a Senate hearing on the ad campaign of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy. The White House office, however, said programming can offer a better payback than ads.
