Senator offers tobacco ad plan

Sen. Wendell Ford (D., Ky.), warning that controversial FDA tobacco ad rules will be tied up in court, filed legislation, less restrictive than FDA's plan, that would bar tobacco ads in sporting facilities regularly used by many children and in magazines with a heavy base of subscriptions (not readers) from children.
