Sephora.com names online agency, breaks branding effort

LVMH picked Addis Interaction, Berkeley, Calif., to create an image for its cosmetics retail brand, Sephora, on the Web. The launch of Sephora.com coincided with the Oct. 14 opening of Sephora's U.S. flagship store in New York; the Web site features the store's clean red, black and white merchandising scheme, with navigation based on Sephora's four "worlds": color, fragrance, well-being and private label. The ad budget was not disclosed.
