New service from CompuServe

Published on .

CompuServe, Columbus, Ohio, introduces its second online service called WOW! from CompuServe. The service, priced at $17.95 per month with unlimited hours, will be available to consumers by month-end. It offers families up to six user accounts and e-mail addresses per household, seamless Internet access through a CompuServe-branded version of Microsoft Internet Explorer browsing software, and options for parents who want to control kids' Internet access or screen e-mail. Advertorials will run in USA Today on March 15 and TV advertising from Martin Direct, Richmond, Va., will begin March 25. Martin Williams, Minneapolis, also produced an imaging campaign for WOW! that will run later in 1996, though DDB Needham, Chicago, has since become the company's agency of record.
