Shell seeks big ad savings

Shell has asked its two global agency networks, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide and J. Walter Thompson Co., to slash costs for creative and media services by 50% over the next three years. Shell International Marketing Director Raoul Pinnell has written to the agencies asking for meetings to discuss how to go about achieving the ambitious target.
