Sirius Satellite Radio, New York, named Goodby
, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, its national agency of record, as expected. Fallon
McElligott and Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG were finalists in the agency search for the estimated $100 million account. Goodby will be responsible for branding, retail advertising, trade marketing and online promotion of the 100-channel subscription radio service. Sirius expects to begin broadcasting at the end of the year and plans to run a national TV campaign promoting the brand and introducing the concept of satellite radio to consumers.
