Site marks auto centennial

Published on .

The American Automobile Centennial Commission opened a World Wide Web site with information on the 100-year history of the U.S. auto industry and information about centennial celebrations. Visitors to the site can also follow the development of a concept car by viewing a camera picture from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. Also at the site is a section that traces the car through popular culture, such as songs and movies.
