The New York Times on the Web is inviting global users to submit potential slogans equivalent to the newspaper's tagline: "All the News That's Fit to Print" by regular or e-mail. The winning slogan will be announced online and in The New York Times on Oct. 25..

Those willing to step up to the (tem)plate can submit slogans of up to 10 words in length to a committee of judges including Esther Dyson, editor and publisher of Release 1.0; Jack Rosenthal, assistant managing editor of The New York Times and editor of The New York Times Magazine; and Martin Nisenholtz, president of The New York Times Electronic Media Co..
