SmartAge offers LinkShare merchant programs to small businesses

Web services company SmartAge, San Francisco, and online marketing company LinkShare Corp., New York, have launched an affiliate advertising program enabling small businesses to share revenue with merchants such as Omaha Steaks, CBS Sportsline and FAO Schwartz. The program, called SmartOpps, will offer LinkShare's e-commerce affiliate programs to SmartAges' network of small business sites. SmartOpps lets small businesses add links to their Web sites that allow customers to click-through to LinkShare merchant affiliate programs.

In related news, LinkShare also signed a deal with SmarterKids.com, an online educational store, to support its affiliate marketing program.
