Concept: You've Got Pictures! Photos delivered electronically like e-mail, along with the ability to order, archive and resend.

Technology: Kodak PhotoNet Online, the former Kodak Picture Network combined with PhotoNet Online, a service of PictureVision in which Kodak owns a 51% stake.

The Scoop: AOL and Kodak struck a three-year alliance to allow customers to order pictures digitally. Consumers at participating retail photo outlets can check an AOL delivery box and write down an e-mail address. The service costs $4.95 to $6.95 per roll. Finished pictures will be sent digitally to the customer who can then e-mail them along, create photo albums on AOL or order reprints. The photo album archives will have a fee, but users will get a free one to post a limited number of photos online.

Where to find it: America Online in the fall.
