Softbank gets Australia link

Internet rep firm Softbank Interactive Marketing continued its international expansion with the acquisition of Web Wide Media, an Australian online rep firm owned by OzEmail, Australia's largest Internet service provider. Terms of the deal, under which OzEmail will gain a minority interest in SIM, weren't disclosed. With the acquisition, SIM now has nine offices worldwide, including one in Europe. SIM hopes to open up the Australian market to multinational advertisers as well as sell ads on local sites to local marketers.
