Software.net Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., changes its name to Beyond.com Aug. 25. The Web software retailer said it intends the name change and an accompanying redesign of the site to make it "the brand of choice for people who buy software." Beyond.com this week starts a TV, radio and print brand campaign and over the next six weeks will run a Web ad campaign. This is the first work since Leagas Delaney, San Francisco, won the estimated $6 million to $10 million account.
