Soloflex, Hillsboro, sued NordicTrack, Chaska, Minn., for $25 million last year, alleging ads, infomercials and promotional materials for the NordicFlex machine were similar to Soloflex's.
NordicTrack countersued, charging false advertising and defamation.
The companies' disputed ads were handled in-house.
The suits have been consolidated for trial purposes.
Tyee Productions did infomercials for both fitness equipment marketers but wasn't named in the suits.
