Sony consolidates agencies

Sony Electronics consolidated at roster shops Lowe & Partners/SMS, New York, and Winkler Advertising, San Francisco, dropping Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, Boston. Winkler, which will open a New York office, added Hill Holliday's estimated $5 million to $10 million in Sony billings for business and industrial products to Winkler's $20 million to $25 million in existing Sony home PC and business billings. Lowe, which has Sony's $30 million to $35 million consumer electronics account, adds the estimated $4 million recording, media and energy group billings formerly at Hill Holliday.
