Sony re-launches 'Sony Style' for newsstand

Sony Electronics' Sony Style magazine was reintroduced on newsstands this week throughout North America. The custom-published, advertising supported title, from Time Inc. Custom Publishing, was originally produced by Hachette Filapacchi Magazines. It has been redesigned as a quarterly lifestyle, entertainment and personal technology magazine featuring actual experiences of Sony enthusiasts with a newsstand distribution of 400,000.

The magazine sells for $5.95 in the U.S. and $8.95 in Canada. Advertisers in the first issue include Oldsmobile, Altoids, Milk,Yahoo, E-bay, and Target stores. The premiere issue's back cover features an advertisement for Gap Classic Cords. The ad rate for a four-color page is $7,500.
