Sony Electronics is talking to three agencies about an ad assignment involving TVs, one of several consumer electronics projects Sony could parcel out, according to an executive close to the company. The move spells competition for Sony's main agency, Lowe
& Partners/SMS, New York, which appears safe on its upcoming MiniDisc and camcorder campaigns. A Sony spokesman denied there was a review "at this time."
