Spalding ad dispute to NARB

Spalding Sports Worldwide, Chicopee, Mass., is contesting a finding by the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus that it lacked substantiation for certain performance claims in advertising for its Top-Flite ball/Club System T line. The decision will be appealed to the National Advertising Review Board. The ads were challenged by Taylor Made Golf Co., Carlsbad, Calif.
