Schering-Plough HealthCare Products, Liberty Corner, N.J., this week launches its first Spanish-language advertising in the U.S. for Dr. Scholl's line of footcare products. The TV spots, from Vidal, Reynardus & Moya, New York, feature Mexican soccer player Hugo Sanchez and are tagged "Tu mejor paso...lo daras con Dr. Scholl's" ("You take your best step with Dr. Scholl's"). They will air during prime time on the Univision TV network. Print and radio ads will run in Miami, Houston and Los Angeles. Spending was not disclosed.
