Spanish-language dot-com appoints D'Arcy for $25 million global task

BARCELONA--New York-based Internet company Demasiado Holding Corp. has awarded D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, Barcelona, its $25 million advertising account for the U.S., Latin America and Spain.

At the same time, Demasiado ("too much") announced it has appointed Albert Agust, formerly managing director of Media Planning, Barcelona,as its president-CEO.

Demasiado Holding, which controls the Internet portal Demasiado.com, is planning to stage an initial public offering. The corporation is backed predominantly by Spanish investors, including the two banking giants BBVA and BSCH.
