Ford Motor Co.'s Ford Division is doing a co-promotion with TriStar Pictures/Amblin Entertainment for "The Mask of Zorro," arriving in theaters July 17. Zubi Advertising, Miami, the division's Hispanic agency, handled the tie-in deal and this spot, breaking nationally the first week of May on Univision and Telemundo. In the commercial, the film's Catherine Zeta-Jones is saved from a villain by Zorro driving a black Mustang GT convertible. Length of the media flight hasn't been decided, but Zubi secured Zorro licensing rights through the end of 1998.
