(May 16, 2001) -- SportsLine.com, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and USA Networks division Electronic Commerce Solutions have launched a new MVP.com online sports store.

Accessible through CBS SportsLine.com, the store features licensed sports apparel, memorabilia and sporting goods. The companies are sponsoring contests for users who visit the new site. MVP.com is being marketed throughout the CBS SportsLine.com site, with promotions such as a New York Yankees world championship cap placed next to a story about the team.

The site also will be promoted via e-mail to an initial combined database of nearly 5 million Internet users, as well as on USA Networks' ticketmaster.com, match.com, livedaily.com and selected citysearch.com sites. -- Adrienne Mand
