Sprint Corp.'s Local Telecommunications Division, Kansas City, Mo., today launches a print, TV and direct mail campaign for its new Sprint Solutions product. Sprint Solutions bundles local and long-distance service into a single package. The advertising from McCann-Erickson Worldwide, New York, uses a humorous analogy of a fast-food customer who wants a hamburger but has to go to separate stores to get the bun, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard and napkin. The ads will run in 16 states where Sprint offers local phone service.
