Published on .

Sprint Cellular, Chicago, on Tuesday named the Martin Agency, Richmond, Va., to its estimated $15 million to $20 million account. Sprint Cellular--which is being spun off from Sprint Corp. in January--will announce its new name within the next few months and will soon compete with its former parent. Other agencies that pitched the account include: Hal Riney & Partners/Heartland and Cramer-Krasselt, both Chicago; and Lowe & Partners/SMS and Houston Effler Hampel Stefanides, both New York. Keroff & Rosenberg, Chicago, previously handled the account.
