Sprint's Spree goes global

Published on .

Sprint's prepaid calling card, Spree, is going global, and can offer prepaid calling from 85 countries for business travelers and tourists. Sold in $5, $10, $20 and $50 denominations, Spree automatically converts the card's calling value into available minutes of use. The cost per minute of usage varies according to the country from which the card is used and the calling destination. Callers dial a toll-free access number for the country from which they are calling and follow spoken instructions to complete the call. No marketing plans have been disclosed.
