Sprint talks to 5 for college business

Sprint is talking to Boston agency Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos and New York's Lowe & Partners/SMS, Deutsch, Wells Rich Greene BDDP and Mad Dogs & Englishmen for its $15 million direct marketing account to college students, according to executives close to the account. A spokeswoman for Sprint called the talks a "capabilities presentation" and denied the account was in review. J. Walter Thompson Direct, New York, is Sprint's agency of record.
