Sprint Corp., Westwood, Kan., has contacted eight shops for a $200 million media review. Non-roster agencies receiving the initial request-for-proposals from Morgan Anderson Consulting, New York, were DeWitt Media, TeleVest and Western International Media, all New York. Roster agencies invited are J. Walter Thompson USA (which currently buys the bulk of Sprint's media), new creative shop McCann-Erickson Worldwide and MediaCom
, all New York; Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco; and Starcom

Nov. 23; at the time, a Sprint spokesman said such a review "is not on our radar screen right now."
