Sprint touts NFL tie

Published on .

Sprint Business breaks its new ad campaign Sept. 9 to exploit Sprint Corp.'s three-year sponsorship of the National Football League. A TV spot by Grey Advertising, New York, will feature Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Bill Cowher, who "virtually coaches" from his hospital bed where he's nursing a broken leg. The campaign will run throughout the NFL season. Sprint will launch print ads in business magazines next month featuring Buffalo Bills Coach Marv Levy with the headline, "For the right business moves, we turn to the league's leading carrier."
