SRI to help Block with review

Published on .

H&R Block, Kansas City, Mo., hired Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., to handle the review of its $100 million ad and marketing account. Young & Rubicam agencies are incumbents on most of the work. The only assignments not up for grabs are public relations, handled by Fleishman-Hillard, Chicago; the brand identity work at Landor Associates, San Francisco; and a software design assignment at VML, Kansas City. Block officials said they'd prefer one global agency but are open to multiple assignments. Y&R has been invited to participate.
