Expresses Satisfaction With Current Agency

SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Staples denied a report in today's print edition of Advertising Age that it was in discussion with Grey Worldwide, Los Angeles, and possibly other shops regarding its creative account.

Staples executives today told AdAge.com that the marketer is "happy" with its creative agency, independent Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York.

"We 100% are not looking at any outside agencies," said Judy Shapiro, vice president of advertising for Staples. "We're very happy with Cliff Freeman. ...We love the work that's on TV right now for us."
