Staples.com, an e-tailer of office supplies and furniture, selected VarsityBooks.com, an online college products and services retailer, to develop and implement a customized online and offline marketing program designed to enable Staples.com to more effectively reach the college market. VarsityBooks.com plans an integrated marketing program including on-campus, student-to-student marketing efforts, participation in targeted e-mail marketing campaigns, distribution of Staples.com product samples and coupons, and other online and offline components.
