Bcom3 Group launched a digital media unit called Starcom
IP Latin America, based in Miami. The new office is a branch of Starcom IP in Chicago, a division of Starcom MediaVest
Group. Starcom IP provides research, consulting and media buying services for Bcom3 clients that want to enter the world of e-commerce and new technologies. Starcom IP Latin America will serve all of Latin America and will be working with several clients in the area including Procter & Gamble Co., UDV, DirecTV, Walt Disney World and assorted dot-coms. The company projects billings of $10 million by yearend. Starcom IP Chicago claims billings of $40 million.
