Starwave adds Java

Published on .

Starwave Corp., Bellevue, Wash., will use Java technology in ScorePost, an interactive scorebox featuring a running ticker of scores. Marketers will be able to sponsor an Olympics-oriented ScorePost for $10,000 per week (1 million impressions). Advertising banners rotate every 2 minutes, at a frequency slower than that of the game scores. Users can click on the advertisement to move to its site and may also click on game scores to get more information about a specific game.
