Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, White Plains, N.Y., consolidated the bulk of its ad business at the DDB
Worldwide network. DDB's Optimum Media, New York, nabbed the $65 million to $80 million media buying account for all of the Starwood brand, while DDB Worldwide will handle creative for the Sheraton and Starwood Preferred Guests units. Creative for other Starwood brands will remain with current agencies. The Westin and W hotel assignments stay at DDB, Chicago; St. Regis and Luxury Collection at Cone/Godley, Boston; and Four Points Sheraton at Ogilvy & Mather, Atlanta. O&M, New York, lost the bulk of the businesses that DDB won.
