Federal mediators will bring back to the bargaining table unions representing striking commercial actors and negotiators for the advertising industry to resolved a contract dispute that has resulted in a monthlong strike. The Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists will met with representatives of the Association of National Advertisers and American Association of Advertising Agencies in New York June 13 and 14. The unions have also taken out an ad in the upcoming June 2 issue of Shoot
weekly magazine demanding an apology from RSA Inc., a TV commercial production house owned by directors Ridley and Tony Scott. RSA recently ran an ad of a bare-breasted elderly woman with the caption "In South Africa, this is what SAG means."
