Study: Napster fans still buy CDs

While more than half of college students (58%) have used Napster to download online music, 79% still buy music on CDs, according to ``Pulsefinder On-Campus Market Study,'' a joint study by Greenfield Online and YouthStream Media Networks. Two-thirds of the students polled said they download songs to preview them before they buy; 72% listen to the music on their PCs; 35% said they make custom CDs with their downloads. Results were based on responses from 1,135 students from an online research panel.
