More stuffed crust

Published on .

Pizza Hut on Monday adds a new variety to its Stuffed Crust line--pepperoni and cheese--and several new celebrity endorsers to its ongoing campaign from BBDO, New York. One TV spot features boxer Peter McNeeley and his trainer, Vinny Vecchione, who jumped in to end Mr. McNeeley's 89-second fight with Mike Tyson last month. Another spot stars country singers Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. The chain invested $50 million on its opening campaign for Stuffed Crust, and will spend an additional $25 million to $30 million on the line addition.
