Subway nears agency decision

Subway Restaurants, Milford, Conn., the week of March 20 will choose an agency for its $90 million national creative account. The Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust is looking at the Martin Agency, Richmond, Va.; Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG, New York; and Mullen, Wenham, Mass. Incumbent Publicis & Hal Riney, Chicago, didn't participate. Last month, Subway named MediaCom, New York, its media agency of record. AAR/Bob Wolf Partners, Los Angeles, is the consultant.
