Super NBC eyes Germany

Published on .

London-based NBC Super Channel is strengthening its presence in Germany, its largest single market in Europe with 16 million cable/satellite homes, by opening a new marketing and public relations office in Munich and implementing a news sharing agreement with state-owned TV station ZDF. The new office will be headed by Hans-Juergen Croissant, formerly the press/PR manager for VPRT, the association of private TV broadcasters in Germany. In another agreement, NBC Super Channel will hand over its ad sales function for the German domestic market and Austria to Media Gruppe Munchen on Jan.1.
