Supermarket account in review

Published on .

Giant Food Stores, Carlisle, Pa., is seeking to consolidate the accounts of its three Northeastern supermarket chains (135 stores) with a single agency. Currently, Mintz & Hoke, Avon, Conn., handles the Edwards Super Food Stores account, while Gray Kirk Vansant, Baltimore, handles the Giant and Martin's Food Stores brands. Both incumbents will participate in the review, with others to be named next month. The combined account is estimated at $6 million to $10 million in billings.
