Grocery Manufacturers of America, Washington, said more than 33% of respondents in a new consumer survey said they bring home prepared meals at least twice a week; 25% said they never have full ingredients for dinner at home. Forty-three percent claim to eat dinner with their families every day of the week; another 23% said they eat with their families three days or fewer a week. The telephone survey by Peter D. Hart Research Associates was conducted between April 25 and May 2 and involved 1,200 primary grocery shoppers. The margin of error is 3.2%.
