Survey finds online auto shoppers shop price

The Automotive Retail Group of EDS, after a phone survey of 100 car dealers and manufacturers, reported Feb. 4 that 74% of respondents said Internet car shoppers are more price-conscious than offline shoppers. The Troy, Mich., unit of the computer services marketer also revealed 59% of respondents said online sales are less profitable than offline sales.
