Suzuki looking for ideas

Published on .

American Suzuki Motor Corp., preparing to launch its Web site in the first quarter, Oct. 31 began soliciting ideas at a temporary site on just what it should include. President Masao Nagura said the car, motorcycle and marine products marketer wants "to return to the roots of the Internet" by asking the Web community to "join the conversation, contributing their ideas and insight before the site is developed." Visitors to an interim site can rank potential Web features and offer other suggestions. Participants get a chance to win $50 or a hat; visitors who offer an idea that is used will be given a $100 "developer's fee" and get their picture and message showcased on the site.
