Swedish diaper maker attracts Wal-Mart

Newly launched Swedish diaper company Marlene, Stockholm, reached a distribution and marketing agreement with U.S. retail giant Wal-Mart Stores, Bentonville, Ark. Production of Nature Boy & Girl biodegradable disposable diapers is expected to begin under license in Sweden and the U.S. by June. "The deal we struck with Wal-Mart covers a six-month trial period. Our diapers will be sold in 10% of all their stores in the United States," said Marlene CEO Marlene Sandberg.
