Swedish Web agency Icon acquires agency in Germany

STOCKHOLM--Internet advertising and marketing agency Icon Medialab of Stockholm has bought the German general and Internet communications agency Killakanu, with offices in Hamburg and Cologne. Killakanu was founded in 1996 by marketing executives Beate Dusterwald, Jorg Heikhaus and John Peplow. The company's client list includes Volvo and Sony. Icon is one of the biggest European companies for interactive, digital solutions for Internet communication, intranet, extranet, graphic design, e-commerce and branding projects. Icon has offices in Stockholm, Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, London, Helsinki, Tampere, Copenhagen, San Francisco, Brussels and Hamburg.
