At launch, the network will feature content from publishers and media groups including Bunker Hill Group, BNA, Business Travel News, Cowles Business Media, Dun & Bradstreet, Kiplinger Washington Editors and TRW Business Information Services. Users pay $39.95 per month for 10 hours of connect time and $2.95 per additional hour.
The monthly fee includes Netscape Navigator browsing and e-mail services, as well as links to the World Wide Web. Discounts for high-volume customers and AT&T long distance users are planned.
As part of the move, AT&T formed a New Media Services unit, headed by President Michael Kolowich, formerly president of AT&T Interchange Online Network.
