AT&T brand chief retiring in April

Marilyn Laurie, AT&T Corp. exec VP of brand strategy and marketing communications, said late last week she will be retiring April 1. No replacement has been chosen. Analyst Jeffrey Kagan said, "This is one of the most crucial decisions that [AT&T Chairman C. Michael] Armstrong will make. The brand is it."
